My port sliding window on my '45 J3 has me baffled. I have attached a few pictures in hopes that this forum can help me figure it out. As you can see from one of the pics, my port window will only open about 3", the problem is seen in the other pic, where a "stop" is formed by a piece of sheet metal that is riveted in the door frame. It looks like someone intended the stop as it is well formed and fits the window like a glove. Surely? or surely not?
