I have a '41 J-3 which is at the end of a complete restoration. It's current gross weight is 1100 lbs, but I
think I've should be able to qualify for the 1220 lb gross weight based on new parts installed during the restoration.
Does anyone have the Piper drawings referred to on the type cert. that I could get a copy of? The drawing numbers
are 12352, 13233, 21642, 31472 and 31423.
