NAS3A1 A65 8 Running rich and rough idle transition. As far as I know the main metering jet has not been changed. Got the idle mixture screw where it idles smooth at full closed throttle, but if it sits there a while it will load up eventually.
The problem, is the transition btwn full closed and when it switches to the main jet 800-1100. It studders there pretty bad and will produce light smoke until rpm is increased to 1200 and burns it off.
Also runs very rich at cruise and suts plugs up. Manual mixture is wired full rich, float level is nearly perfect, needle was leaking but fixed now and no change in the rich mixture.
Mags are good.
I'm lost, any ideas appreciated asap.
