A question for the learned collective ;)

I was looking at Barnstormers the other day (I know, step away from the keyboard NOW) and stumbled on a cute little 65hp Wag Aero Cubby for sale. Talking with one of my other friends online, he is of the opinion that the Cubby's are narrower in the fuselage than the standard J3. I have always thought that the Cubby's were built on the standard J3 frame. Is there much difference in the cockpit? As a non-european sized pilot, the bigger inside the better. :)
