The elevator trim on my L-4 has always worked perfectly. After the annual inspection and service a few weeks back it stopped working at all when airborne. The horizontal stab will not move and the trim handle seems to have added resistance. It's smooth and positive on the ground.
Obviously, I can tighten up the cable tension adjuster. Is there anything else that can be done?
The original 1943 dated maintenance instructions offer no insight, only the warning to not over tighten the cable.
