I just purchased a J3 cub, and I'm having trouble with the elevator trim. It appears the cable is too lose, and does not work under load. Works fine on the ground, but not in the air. I was able to look inside the tail section where the pulley is located, and I see the pulley. Can someone describe to me how to adjust the cable? How much tension is needed? And how the pulley actually functions? Any diagrams or pictures would be helpful. Thanks.
