I’m going through the process of replacing the trim cable on my flying J3. One question I have is, if the cable is properly installed should it have a twist in it? This seems to be the only way to get the system to work correctly.

Also if that is how it should be, is it a problem that the two strands of the cable touch where they cross. Or is there a way to avoid this?

Regards,

James
