I wanted to know more about the history of my Cub so I ordered all the records from the FAA which didn’t really tell me the history other than ownership names and then I thought about running ads requesting information and included a picture of the Cub in the local papers in the towns of the previous owners, fortunately for me it had never left the state of Indiana until the time that I bought it in 1997. All the owners were from small towns and the ads ranged from 21.00 to 120.00 but it was well worth it. Most of the owners were deceased but I did get to speak with the children and friends of the previous owners and really learned a lot about the Cub and where it had been and what it had been thru. They are digging thru old photo albums and will be sending what pictures they have and when I get them I will post them. The guy who owned it for 35 years was quite interesting and you can find a bit of info about him on this site, his name was Bob White; http://www.angelfire.com/in2/stinson/

Thought I would share that bit of info if you’re interested in obtaining the history of your Cub.
