As previously reported, flew the Cub from MN to FL a few weeks ago, floats will get a coat of paint on the bottoms this week, doing some minor touch up on the plane this week and still on schedule to install floats and have it on the water by the end of the month.

Bruce cover set arrives tomorrow, hopefully they fit! We had a few discussions about J3 / PA11 firewall forward adjustments.

This plane’s fabric / paint is in excellent condition (never stored outdoors) so I want to protect it as best can. Ceramic coating as opposed to wax seems popular (although quite expensive) so I am wondering about the value. Any thoughts and experience on paint protection would be appreciated.
