A local sailboat guy made this for me. Not sure what he charges, but he gave me this and a pair of shock cord boots.

This is 24 oz cotton duck, subjected to two trips into black fabric dye. It is the best work I have seen. Note the flap that covers the lacing. Also note the butt protector sewn in.

I have hand-stitched these things. All I can tell you is it is a lot of work, and only cotton duck stands up to use.
