I just completed a top overhaul and after running in the new cylinders I was still experiencing some engine vibration. I checked the propeller tracking and discovered a 3/16 inch difference between blades. I then rotated the prop 180 degrees and the runout moved to the opposite blade indicating either a bent hub or bent crank! Fortunately, I had a new hub in my spare stash. After installing the new hub I held my breath as I pulled the blades through and marked the new runout. Less than 1/16 inch which is max allowable. Hooray! Can’t wait to fly, ground run feels really smooth. My home made hub removal tool worked great.
