Hi I am new to this forum and am considering buying a 1946 J3 Cub. One of the aircraft I am considering buying has the specs and equipment listed below.
Is 4877 TTSN a concern? I only ask because a lot of the J3's I see for sale have half as many hours and very few that have as much. What is considered high time on a J3?

4877 TTSN
Continental C 85 F-12 438 SMOH
Wing tank
lifetime struts
metal spars
Intercom
Icom VHF radio with 2 place intercom and 2 head sets
Garmin GPS 90
exterior antenna
Annual done in May
Auto Fuel STC
Wheel pants
Wing and tail covers
Tight EDO 1400 floats with pump outs, no damage, no patches
1500 A skis with Teflon bottoms
Hooker shoulder harnesses
Winter kit
Scott and Maule tail wheels
42 degree pitch Mc Cauley prop

Jack
