Owner assisted annual

I'm in the process of finishing up my annual inspection. While at the hangar i was thinking about some of the threads posted here about what some pay for there inspection. I do and have been doing owner assisted annuals. By doing most of the grunt work and some easy stuff, oil change,plugs etc. I've cut the cost to a miniimun. Just thinking that most of us know our Cubs better that some shop or and IA that's use to working on a spam can. After all most of us have had a hand in rebuilding and routine maintaince of our Cubs and know them better than most. I will say that i'm very lucky to have an IA that also has a "46 J3 and is very knowledgable about Cubs. So i guess my question is, how many of you do owner assisted annuals?
