My cars have done it..the older ones with carbs. Other airplanes have done it. Now my Cub is doing it. On first long taxi of the day with engine not warmed, the engine will "load up" and run rough. I can run it up at 1000-1200 rpm for 5-10 seconds and it will clear out , but something has changed since it didn't used to do that. Weakened spark ? Increased resistance in plugs ? Richened idle mixture ? What is the usual cause ? Thanks !
