When I purchased my 1946 Cub it had a Lang D 501 tail wheel. While it did pass the annual inspection it appeared to be very high time and my opinion was it needed overhaul to be airworthy. I removed it and replaced it with a new different make tail wheel. If someone needs it for parts, I would be happy to let it go very cheap plus shipping.
