I am building a WagAero Sport trainer and the bolts, washers, bushings etc. of the four points where a Continental O-200 Engine attaches to the Engine mount is the purpose of this post.
AC Spruce (http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/eppages/contmountparts.php?clickkey=22130) has "Engine Mounting parts for Continental C-90-14F & O-200 only" which includes an AN6-55 (3/8") bolt. The WagAero Continental engine mount for a Sport Trainer seems to be made for an AN7 (7/16") bolt even though it is not a "snug" fit it is a lot tighter than an AN6 bolt. From reading the forums here at The Cub Club and the J3 Cub Forum it appears that an AN6 bolt is used on Cessna 150s and some other plane configurations. Is it correct that the J3 (Sport Trainer) uses AN7 bolts? Is it correct to assume the Rubber bushings are the same regardless of the AN6 vs. AN7 bolt size?
Another problem arises with the AN6 vs. AN7 bolts is that all the metal "Seats" and "Washers" which capture the Rubber bushings are for the 3/8" AN6 bolt. Are any made specifically for the 7/16" (AN7) bolt or do people drill the holes on the "Seats" and "Washers" to AN7 size?
Also, on the 3/8" bolt (AN6) there is a "Hose" that fits over a metal sleeve that is between the front and rear Rubber Bushings of each of the 4 mounts. The metal sleeve the hose slips over is for a 3/8" bolt. The metal sleeve seems to have the purpose of allowing the rubber hose to freely center itself between the front and rear Rubber bushings. The 3/8" sleeve won't fit the 7/16" (AN7) bolt and without it the Hose is a poor fit. So what does one do about the Hose and sleeve on the J3's AN7 bolt?

Questions (all in one place):
1. Is it correct that the J3 (Sport Trainer) uses AN7 bolts?
2. Is it correct to assume the Rubber bushings are the same regardless of the AN6 vs. AN7 bolt size?
3. Are "Seats" and "Washers" made specifically for the 7/16" (AN7) bolt or do people drill the holes on the "Seats" and "Washers" to AN7 size?
4. So what does one do about (fitting) the Hose and sleeve on the J3's AN7 bolt?
