Okay I'm obviously doing something wrong, it can't be this hard. :-\

I've change tires on split rims but today was my first try at a 8 x 4 Cub Wheel. All I wanted to do was turn the tire around so it would wear the inside portion of the tread by remounting it on the outside.

I deflated the tube, took the cotter pin and pin out of rim, remove snap ring on outer rim and removed that outer rim with a little difficulty, but it came off finally. So the outer portion of the tire wants to come off, but the tube won't come off what is left of the inner rim...that is one tight fit. I figured I'd ask here before I damage a good tube.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong, I bet it is something real simple ::)
