After an IRAN on my C90-8 in my cub we started to install the engine today. I ran into a problem right of the bat. My AI that rebuilt the engine supplied me with the new gaskets and new engine mount bushings. Previously I had bought the bushings not knowing he would also supply them. The bushings I bought were rather hard rubber and needed lube getting them on. After we had the engine in position with the lift I noticed a box if bushing along with the extra gaskets. These were much softer so as to be able to squish them almost closed with my fingers. The other ones I had bought from a reputable supplies in Trade A Plane were much harder and no way could you distort the bolt hole with your fingers much at all.

I went with the hard ones but am not sure why the big difference in rubber composition. Has anyone else run into this issue?
