Great Chili Fiesta fly-in at Massey Aerodrome today. I left my post at the intersection of the runway and taxiway at 12:30 with a count of 110 aircraft; many more landed after that. Only one I recognized besides 6 aircraft from our EAA Chapter 186 was Christina Young and friend from Andover-Aeroflex, New Jersey, in her L-21B. About 5 fine Stearman biplanes, many SCs, about a dozen J3s, a few Aeroncas, a Stinson Reliant, BT-23, one weight-shift trike, and some modern. Here are a few of the aircraft.

The last one, man-to-man talk, is one of those private moments where grandpa was tired from walking, sat on the tire to rest for a moment; and held the little guy up close. Shortly off they went again, hand in hand.
