I have no idea how much it costs to learn to fly in a Cirrus, although I am friends with the outfit that does all the Cirrus training here.
I was about 100 yards behind a Cirrus, called for touch and goes, got a shortcut to the runway, waited for about ten minutes for traffic, did seven stop and goes, and as I landed for the full stop, the Cirrus called for release. I think he was airborne by the time I closed my hangar doors.

That does not count the ten minute warmup at 1500 RPM that these things seem to need, I did not see that part of the operation. So let's say an hour before takeoff - $250? The aircraft is new, and cost $633K, so maybe I am low?

I am trying to get them to do primary in a Cub, using CIGAR TIPS, before getting in the Cirrus and an eight page checklist, but so far I have not generated much interest.
