Decades ago, my brother and I had two A-65 engines. My brother sold one of them to a preacher who lived in another town. Unfortunately, he gave the preacher the logbooks for the wrong engine. For icing on the cake (which was unrelated to the logbook issue), the preacher told us that he had talked to God, and God told him he didn't owe us any money because he was a preacher, so we got zilch. Sheriff and police refused to get involved because of the preacher aspect.
So, we still have an A-65 with the wrong logbooks. Is there anything we can do to create a replacement log?
