I bought a new (never installed) 6.5 gal aluminum J3 wing tank from a guy at our airport for $150 it has installation instructions (hand drawn) and a 337 from 1973 approving the fabrication and installation of the tank in a J3. Is this documentation enough for installation in my J3? it's a beautiful tank and the price was right. My IA says just submitting that paperwork on a new 337 for my cub will suffice. It appears to have been mfg by Ralph Buddeck in WI in 1973.
