I am restoring an old J3, fuselag is in good shape. Put a new trim cable from Univair on, new pulleys, jackscrew is good. Problem, trim cable is so tight I can hardly get the pulley on the bottom of jack screw. I ordered a super cub trim cable thinking maybe the fuse was not really a j3, no good, too loose. Univair was kind enough to take it back but where do I go from here. The trim handle barely turns there is so much tension on it. Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks.
