Just a friendly discussion about the proper procedure to weigh a J3 Cub. It appears to me that most people remove the oil as part of the empty weight. My counterpart claims that the convention of weighing without oil as part of the empty weight was changed, so now all aircraft are weighed with full oil as part of the empty weight. Which is correct?
