In my J5 I've found that in cruise I cannot readjust my trim to increase nose down without slowing to about 50 and trimming a lot nosedown then accellerating to cruise speed and trimming out the extra nosedown trim. I've encountered a similar problem in a PA-12. Has anyone else had this problem and what have you done to fix it. I've heard suggestions about checking the tension in the trim cable, replacing the pulleys or doing something to increase friction in the pulley. Any thoughts?
