Hello:
I really want a set of skis for my cub, but my home airport is not ski friendly. Is it possible to lash the skis to the outside of the plane? That way I could take off with wheels, land on a snow plowed runway and change over to the skis that I brought with me, then go ski flying for the weekend. Once done ski flying, put my wheels back on and take my plane home to my hanger.

There is a rumor of a set of Cub skis here in Western Montana that I am going to try and run down once I get back in the states. Has anyone ever rented a set of skis? I was thinking of trying before buying and normally would compensate a guy if I borrowed his skis for the weekend and did not buy them for various reasons.

Peace.
