Hello all,

I had a guy fly in today to pick up some sheet metal in a 172. We talked airplanes for a while then he asked if I had time for a ride. Off we went.

As soon as we lifted he said, "all yours". I climbed out, flew a few miles then turned back. Flew the downwind, turned base and final and almost put it on the ground myself.

I had flown dad's airplane before, but never made the approach. I know he was there with me today. It helped that the guy I was with is a CFII, and has 19,000 hours in a King Air.

If I only had the money to learn how to fly....

Erik
