I have only flown my cub so I don't know how others feel, regarding smoothness when pushing or pulling the throttle.
My throttle is not consistant, it has a (for better explanation) stiff or hard spot just after moving forward. I guess at about 11 to 1400 RPM, at first it moves normal, then catches, so I have to push forward more, then it moves past the tight spot and moves too fast. I work around it pretty well but would like for it to be smooth all the way through the range.
It does this because of the angle the cable is over the oil kidney, at a certain point in movement it seems to wedge causing this drag spot.
Could it be positioned wrong? Anyone have pictures of the way their cable connects over the oil kidney and to the carburetor?

Thanks,

Glenn G.
