Hey Guys.

this has been an issue since I got the Cub. The throttle seems to stick midpoint. So for example its very difficult to get to say....... at 1700 RPMs without overshooting it. Also when Im coming in on downwind for landing its very difficult to get it down 1500 RPMs smoothly without going to idle. It takes a bit of force and when it goes I always overshoot.

im not familiar with how Carburetors on a Cub work. Is it the Throttle Plate (if there is one) thats sticking and making it harder to move the throttle?, or could it be the cable rubbing somewhere? (Dont think thats it).

i was going to remove cowling and look around but Im not an A&P and dont really know what to look for.

any help would be appreciated
