I am building a sportrainer/j3 with wood spars, about ready to drill spars for the strut attachment fitting. The plans have me scratching my backsides as to what length the compression strut at the wing strut fittings would be from the inboard end of front and rear spars or from the bolt hole on the inboard spar fittings . I am getting two different lengths from the plans. Trying to keep things going forward, with fewer backups. Any help or tips or things to avoid, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help or thoughts Steve
