After three good landings this morning, my CFI asked for my logbook and student certificate. I could barely contain myself while I waited for him to put in his endorsements. He got out, suggested a point for extending my downwind, and waved me on.

It really felt like a full-stall landing was the only way she would come down to the runway. My second favorite part - besides being up there by myself for the first time - was not having someone's head in the middle of the runway while trying line up my approach. :)

Next week we're doing cross-countries to prepare me for flying one of the legs to Oshkosh. I'll fly the first leg while my dad drives, and then we'll switch for him to fly the rest of the way.
