I've got an Aeronca L-3B project I am going to peddle. Now, some of us know others that love Aeronca (phhtttouy!) more than Cubs, and if you know someone like that that wants a warbird. This is an awesome project!
Wings covered through silver, wing tanks added. A 75hp engine that's been overhauled with new mags (overhaul done a while ago, but stored properly), prop, new cowling. All other surfaces (except fuselage) covered through pink. Good set of struts. One extra strut that has a small hole. Got the logs and paperwork, including STC for Cleveland brakes, and the mounting of a C-85. The fuselage needs media blasting, epoxy and brought up from there. It's solid, has a few repairs from the years, but is straight and looks like the repairs were done properly. The only things I do know that will need to be tracked down is a couple military issue instruments, and new glass.
I just don't have the time to work on it. I will consider offers on it, and that could include J-3 paperwork, or project J-3 in trade. (I want to build a clip wing in the future.) Airplane can be picked up in Minneapolis.
Anyone want more details, or have some interest, let me know!
