Hi to everybody,
after 20 months searching for a L-4, I was found by a L-4 owner who contacted me... From the first picture I understood that was the right one, so in few days I travelled to Switzerland crossing the Simplon pass to meet my L-4J. After 20 minutes of test flight the deal was done. Now her new home is in the north west side of Italy and my intention would be to restore this nice aircraft to the Dec 19 1944 standard, when she left the Piper shopfloor. I have a certain experience in military vehicles restoration, there are several similarities but to complete my mission I will need your support and your knowledge, hoping to be able sooner or later to repay your help.
Here is the build card and some picture, thank you very much in advance to everyone who will share his experience with me.
Gustavo
