Hello all,
I know its not a J3, but Piper did call it the "Cub Clipper" occasionally!! haha!

Anyhow, up for sale:

Piper PA-16 Clipper project. VERY COMPLETE and fully disassembled. Logs back to factory. VERY interesting history. Fuselage ready to go, wing spars and ribs all good, ailerons great, landing gear great, Scott tailwheel, 2 wing tanks (in prep. for the 150hp conversion), all instruments (transponder and radio too...it was airworthy before it was disassembled for restoration), disc breaks (even have tires), original shape but fiberglass repro wheel pants (I know, I wish they were the original metal ones too, but they are correct shape), all seats, all metal including nosebowl, cowls, bootcowl, and spinner). Has its O-235 engine.....though run out....its there. Prop yellow tagged and good. Good amount of extras too. Really, its complete.

Plane is in New York State, inside, all in one spot, properly stored. All of it is movable in a 20 foot Uhaul.....believe me.

Someone could build this up into a really sharp, really fantastic flying, really useful ship. Pure vintage, proper Piper with actual utility. Oh did I mention that it has a cool history?? (It was featured in a magazine in 1949).

No clue what to ask for it. (I know whats too low though!! haha)

If your interested and serious, shoot me a message.

THANKS ALL!
