Hey guys, I have a friend that wants to build a "cub-like" aircraft for under 10k. He's thinking of a single-seater and keeping it under the light sport category.
Also, I have another friend that wants to sell his Zenith STOL CH 701 for something "Cub-like", as well. I'm thinking his budget will be around 30k-40k after the sale. He wants to stay private pilot and cruise around 90+mph
Both of these guys wants to build a kit.
Anyone got any ideas for the first and second guy? I was thinking maybe a SAVAGE kit for the second guy, but not sure about the engine costs.
We all fly out of a 2000ft turf strip, so it would be nice to have good STOL performance (not that we really need it, but it can get hot in Texas).
