Hi everyone,
I have received my rebuilt carb from Marvel Schebler for my O-200. Before sending the core back, I forgot to remove the bolt that holds the mixture cable to the mixture linkage arm.
Upon reviewing pictures I took before removing old carb, it seems like the bolt is a normal bolt that was drilled, meaning the bolt cannot rotate freely in the linkage arm when mixture is adjusted (in other words it will bind up and the cable will bend / take the strain when adjusted due to being fixed to linkage arm).
Is this normal for it to be fixed like this? I couldn’t find a specified bolt in the MA-3SPA parts manual or the O-200 parts manual. What do others use?
Picture of old setup.
