I've been repairing this old Impulse Eisemann magneto too many times( last blow out was this weekend, I flew home on the right mag) and am ready to convert to a Slick, one or two. I have a Lunchbox Bendix Scintilla SR4N-8 on the right and Eisemann on the left with the impulse coupling.
Question is, do all Slick 4333's come with impulse coupling or is that something extra I'd have to purchase. Aircraft Spruces' new price for the single Slick 4333 AMAG + one drive gear is 1080 bucks, and I'll still need a harness. Whew! what price spark. Anyone know of a better deal anywhere? I know I could save a buck just replacing the one but who thinks doing both new is a better idea? That Lunch box Bendix has never faltered and mag drop is always 50 rpm or less. All opinions appreciated. jimmy
