I have found a guy that has a J-3 with EDO 1320's, skis, and 8.00-4 tires, and 33 gallons of total fuel capacity. He is willing to trade for my 172 plus funds. This Cub was totally rebuilt about 4 years ago but flown only 53 hours. It had new Dakota wings on it also. Would this cub be a little on the "gutless" side when on floats? It has a 65 in it but I think he said it was a 75. Not sure how it would be converted. He also has a C90-12 that is run out (peices in a box) that will go with the plane.
I think I have read on here that this engine is not on the TC and was wondering if there is an STC for it. What could I expect to pay to get it overhauled?
Thanks,
WW
