Light Sport Mechanics License?

One of the attractive things to me about Light Sport was the potential ability to do your own maintenance and inspections with the proper training. That said, where does one get such training? It seems that there is nowhere available for one of these "schools". Is anyone aware of how you might actually qualify to do your own maintenance on S-LSA without full A&P? Does anyone know of plans in the works to provide such training? Ralph
