In section II, for a 65 horse engine, the type certificate, A-703, for the J4 says that ( with item 101) a max diameter of 84 inchs is acceptable for a landplane..
Then if you read item 101, all the props are limited to not over 74 inches and this item section is making references the weight changes.
Anyone have any insight on this?
Is a 76 inch wood prop legal on our landplane?
Maybe I'll be able to make this out in the daylight tommorow, but I thought maybe you J4 guys have figured this out already.

Thanks for any input you can share.
