J3 Window Latch - new ideas wanted

My original window latch finally gave up the ghost last weekend ... and I'd like to replace it with something *better* ...

I've seen probably 10 different window latches - some of which looked pretty neat (wish I could remember more about those!).

Would anyone venture to show pictures of "other than stock" latches that might hold up, look halfway good, and not snag my scalp?
