The rear rod on our door has been “repaired” by previous owner twice in the last few years. We recently purchased the Cub. We opened the fabric up and found the newer rod was bent in sort of a U shape at the door latch. Is this standard? We’re going to re fabric the door and would like this to be “the fix.” I was thinking of bending a new rod at a right angle and using a friction fit push nut.

thanks in advance. SC
