Hi all,

First post here. Been reading/searching quite a bit. Great forum! I'm looking to buy a Cub and start a flying club, and if no one's interested just have a sweet plane to myself:). (private pilot currently, IFR training)

Planning on buying in to a commuter type plane for travel, but want something that's 'real' flying if you will as well.

All that being said I've seen some people post useful loads of 500 ish with a J3.

I'm just curious what power/weight/mod combo you'd need to make that happen?

I'm 190 and a couple of my friends are 240. Low and slow is fine, would like to be able to fit whoever for a joy ride though.

Any thoughts are appreciated, muchas gracias!
