I have this setup in my j3 with a ptt mounted on the stick. I can receive fine and talk on the intercom fine, but when I try to transmit my voice is extremely weak. I can barely hear myself on the radio check but I am getting 10/10 on the power from the AWOS. If I unplug the intercom and go directly to the radio with the headset and ptt everything is fine. I have heard of problems with the internal mic not being disabled on the radio when a ptt switch is not connected, but the only difference is the intercom. I have tried different headsets and different intercoms with the same results. Anyone else have this problem, am I missing something in the setup?
