I will call Icom Monday, but on the off-chance that one of you has run into this problem:
A 25 C plus what looks like the proper headset adapter and ptt switch. Transmit relay won't pull in. Checked the ptt switch with an ohmmeter - checked good. Tried a different headset adapter. No luck. Tried a different radio with the original headset adapter. No luck. Both radios show "tx" when the side button is pressed.
I am thinking that Icom has again changed the format, and while the adapters look correct, there may be a mismatch. I will look for a working setup Monday and again try all combinations - but if one or more of you have some insight, that would help get Matt going again.
So far, I am the fourth "expert" called in on the problem.
