So, I went for a quick flight after my annual yesterday. Mags off (A-7 mag switch), fuel on, primed 2 shots, throttle closed and went to pull the prop through 4 blades as usual for priming before I turn the mags on. One pull, second pull the engine turned over and it sat there idling pretty as you please with the throttle off and mags off.

Out of curiosity I shut it down (using the fuel valve) and started it again using the same technique. Then I went and did a run up and got a normal rom drop on the mag checks. I'm assuming it's got to be a lead to the mags and not the switch since I got a normal drop?

Bummer right out of an annual.
