One of my brakes is dragging pretty bad. These are the original goodrich/hayes brakes. I took the wheel off and noticed that some of the blocks were a little higher than the others. With a little persuasion, I could get the higher blocks down to about where the others were but the blocks would not return on there own.
The brakes have not been serviced in quite awhile. I replaced the diaphrams on the master cylinders a few months ago and when I did there was a lot of sediment in them. I am guessing that I have some sediment in the bladders as well.
Any thoughts on the best way to clean the bladders or other possible reasons the brake would be dragging so bad? (removing some of the brake fluid did not help).
thanks and regards,
Scott
