I am not optomistic, but I promised the owner I would look in to it.

Cont. A-65 apparently pulls really good with a Warp Drive experimental prop. Lots of engineering data (apparently) from the manufacturer.

Installed on a certificated aircraft for over a year, via a 337 signed by an IA. Apparently a real performance booster.

My advice was that insurance would be invalidated by such an unapproved installation, and I refused to fly it that way. New owner wants to look into a field approval.

So, my knowledgable friends, is this sort of thing possible? Can a VDER, like our friend Dave, do things like this?

I have done brakes, door latches, rib attachment stuff, etc., but never tried to tackle something this technical.
