The J5 that I am currently flying was covered using the Ceconite 7600 process according to the log entry. The pinking tape around the edges are starting to lift and a doily has completely come off. The goal is to repair the fabric and then the paint. The logs also mentioned using Cooper Polyurathane as a finish.

What cement and filler is recommend for repair as this process is no longer used. Was this an MEK based process? Can super seam cement be used to hold down the edges?
