Engine timing

Hi everyone, I will be removing my Slick 4330 mags from an A65 for inspection and would like to have the proper tools for setting ignition timing. I realize there is a degree wheel that attaches to the tapered shaft but would like to be able to time and check without removal of the prop. I see a degree wheel that attaches to the spinner (see image) and View attachment ImageUploadedByJ3 Cub1490016283.587894.jpgwas wondering if any of you have experience using this type?
